At TACCEI, we recognise that the participation of local communities is essential for the success of conservation initiatives and through our collaborative approach, we work with local communities to increase their capacity to develop sustainable livelihood options that reduce poverty and conserve biodiversity.
Sustainable Agricultural Practices
We support rural communities through business and technical skills training including “farming as business”, SACCOS formation and management including linkage to credit sources for crop financing as well as value chain development through multi stakeholder coordination, linkage to Business Development services (BDS) and market and microfinance linkages.
