Tuwaibue Project 

Our project aims to achieve two main objectives;

1). Attitude change among the Maasai community towards PWDs; and 

2). to create an empowered community of PWDs economically, socially and politically. 

To tackle the challenges that PWDs are facing in the Maasai community, the project uses a combination of methods that address its different component parts: problems of knowledge (ignorance), problems of attitude (prejudice), and problems of behaviour (discrimination). Furthermore, the project aims to empower PWDs economically, socially and politically in order for them to have their voice heard in decision making organs.
